These Are the Most Resold Fashion Brands in the World

A new study has revealed the most resold fashion brands in the world. This might come as a surprise but it's not all Louis Vuitton, Gucci, and Chanel on the list.
Energy switching site Save On Energy came up with the report to "discover which fashion brands were possessing a similarly positive effect on the planet by being the most resold and therefore reused." In order to rank the brands, researchers looked at the listings on eBay, Depop, ASOS Marketplace, Etsy, and Vestiaire Collective.

- Boohoo
It's clear fast-fashion brands led the ranking but luxury brands like Gucci didn't come that far as it landed on the 12th spot. The Italian fashion house had 345,109 listings across different platforms in total.
"Whilst fast-fashion retailers have faced huge amounts of criticism for their environmental impact, many of these often see their brand items resold online, increasing the longevity of their products as a result," the report said.
It added, "For example, PrettyLittleThing ranked as one of the most resold brands in the world, with 502,510 total listings across the platforms studied. As did Boohoo and Missguided, both of which ranked among the 20 most resold fashion brands in the world according to our research."
