The Largest NBA Store in the Philippines Just Opened in SM Mall of Asia

The NBA opened the doors of its latest and largest NBA Store in the country on Thursday (May 4). Located on the second floor of Mall of Asia’s entertainment-themed South Wing, guests were given a tour of the brand spankin’ new store before it opened to the public later in the day.
Continuing the league’s partnership with premier basketball specialty concept store Titan, the second NBA Store in the Philippines is more than double the size of the first store in SM Megamall. The 500-plus square-meter retail space features an extensive selection of authentic NBA merchandise and memorabilia—an absolute dream come true for any NBA fan. The NBA and Titan understand not everyone can watch a live NBA game so they’re bringing the NBA experience to Manila through the store.

Guests can indulge in replica jerseys of past and present NBA stars, a wide range of fan gear, basketballs, accessories, and player signature sneakers from major brands such as Nike, Anta, Mitchell & Ness, New Era and Wilson. From the tunnel entrance to the in-store basketball court, the NBA Store gives us the next best thing to actually being there.
The store also carries NBA Philippines-branded hyperlocal products including a limited-edition tee to celebrate the store’s launch.
“Elevating the experience of every Filipino basketball consumer is an objective that we’re focused on achieving as we recreate an authentic NBA retail atmosphere in our largest store,” said Titan Managing Director Mike Ignacio. “Building on the success of our first brick-and-mortar store and e-commerce platform, we’re committed to leveraging our interactive space as we inspire Filipino fans to celebrate their love for the game and express their NBA fandom in style.”
In addition to all the shopping to crazy about, the store also features fan interactive elements such as an NBA 2K gaming corner with toys and collectibles from Funko and Panini, as well as footprints and standees of NBA players and legends. In the center of the store is a half-court with a 2.5-meter LED screen where fans can enjoy watching the games. Across the screen, a commissioned mural by local contemporary artist JP Pining pays tribute to the Philippines’ love for the league.

A special guest at the store for a limited time this month is the actual Larry O’Brien trophy which is currently on exhibit. Make sure to get a photo with it before it goes to this season’s NBA champion, which we’ll all be crowning in a few weeks.
