Even by New Balance's dad-shoe standards, this latest pack has a lot of old-school charm going for it. The New Balance 247v2—the sequel to 2017's 247 model—is one of NB's modern lifestyle shoes. In recent years, the American brand has been slowly branching out from the classic retro runners that people have known them for. Such efforts have produced the X-90, the 247, and by extension, the 247v2.

This latest pack of the v2 has been dubbed the 'Luxe Leather' pack. It's comprised of three colorways—Flat White, Dark Grey, and Galaxy—each done in premium nubuck and finished with a gum sole. "Luxe" is certainly an appropriate term, because as far as New Balance's general releases go, these feel pretty upscale and grown up. Check them out:

These three colors are undying staples of menswear. Navy and two shades of brown can be the only colors in a man's wardrobe and he could still be stylish as hell. That's why these extra-premium New Balance kicks are fool-proof options for any guy looking for sneakers to pair with smarter outfits.

The New Balance 247v2 "Luxe Pack" is available at Sole Academy starting today. Each retails for the full retail price of P6,795.
