Nike's Air Max 720 Just Got Its Full, Official Reveal

The new sneakers hit stores on February 1.

Air Max fans, rejoice. Because after an extended run of teasers and leaks, Nike just officially revealed its latest addition to the line: the Air Max 720. The sneaker features the tallest-ever Air bag in a Nike sneaker, plus a textile upper that the Swoosh's designers have clearly decided to utilize to its full extent with a host of new colorways.

The first set of limited-edition "Northern Lights" sneakers (in "Day" and "Night" iterations) hit shelves and the SNKRS app on February 1, with a bunch of other riffs on the new design to follow in the succeeding weeks. Of particular note are the upcoming "Sunrise" (February 21) and "Total Eclipse" (aka triple-black, February 28) colorways, which represent the brightest and most subdued versions of the shoe we've seen yet.

If those aren't your cup of tea—and really, why not?—there's sure to be more from the 720 over the course of 2019. It's the newest in a revered line of fan-favorite sneakers, after all. No doubt we've got a lot to look forward to.
