Finally, the Nike React Element has Arrived in the Philippines

The Element 55-sadly, not the Element 87-is here.

The Nike React Element 87 took the sneaker world by storm when it dropped earlier this year. Many were quick to hail it "sneaker of the year," because out of all the new models that have been released in 2018, it's hard to deny that the React Element 87 was one of the best. It looked great, its design was original yet also on-trend (translucent materials have been all the rage lately), and it was built with Nike's bouncy new React technology. A clear winner.

Sadly, we didn't get to see a local release of the React Element 87 here in the Philippines. But now, we can settle for Nike's pared-down version: the React Element 55, which is similar in almost all respects, and only significantly different because it has a regular opaque upper instead of the 87's translucent material. Check it out:

Local lifestyle boutique Commonwealth has stocked the Element 55 in two colorways: Black/White and Black/Jade. But really, all we're here for is the Black/White colorway. It releases on Saturday, August 25, at Commonwealth Greenbelt 5 for the full retail price of P6,745.
