Uniqlo has just announced its collaboration with the Namco Museum, a series of compilations of retro video games by the iconic Japanese developer and publisher Namco. The UT collection consists of graphic T-shirts featuring Namco's iconic video games: MAPPY, Dig Dug, Xevious, Galaga, and of course, Pac-Man. Check it out:

We're not sure if this will be more or less difficult to cop because of the intense nostalgia. On one hand, some of these are certified classics, and it's enough to want to buy them for the sentiment alone. But on the other hand, a lot of today's young adults might not even recognize these games anymore—so who's to say that these won't sit on the shelves after a few of old heads have gotten their hands on them?

Regardless, it's refreshing to see that apart from the nostalgia, these are actually not bad graphic tees. They're totally wearable, and they don't necessarily make you look like a 45-year-old gamer who lives with his mother and habitually wipes his Cheetos-stained hands on his dog. (Sadly, we can't say the same about Uniqlo's awful collaboration with Blizzard. Sorry, Overwatch fans. Those tees just weren't cool.) So at least this time around, Uniqlo did right by the video games featured on their shirts.

The collection drops here in the Philippines on the week of August 6. Prices are not yet available, but follow Uniqlo Philippines on Facebook for updates.
