Holiday season is well and truly upon us. Which means that from now until the ball drops for 2018, you've got about eight million parties to go to. And while some of those will fall into the "ugly sweater" category, some are going to demand a little more from you, style-wise.

To give you an idea of what to do when the invitation reads "black tie" (or, worse, "creative black tie"), we dressed I, Tonya star Sebastian Stan in some of the season's best formalwear. 6| You've probably noticed that there's nary a bowtie to be found in these photos. That's by design. When we said to take it easy and lose the tie earlier, we meant it—it's the easiest way to knock any stuffiness out of a dressed-up look right now.
