How To Wear All-Over Blue, According to Seth Rogen
Yes, that is Seth Rogen. Funny man Seth Rogen. The one who cut his teeth on American stoner comedy; who filled your lethargic, sweat-panted university days with quotable gags about unwanted pregnancy that have lasted well into 2019. Well, he's now your style icon. Rogen 2.0 has arrived.
At the SXSW premiere of Long Shot, the 36-year-old cut the ribbon on a new era: he's bold. He's on-trend. He's clearly put the hours in down the gym. And it's all resulted in a Rogen that's less quotable, more replicable.
You can thank one choice suit. In step with the wider appetite for vibrant tailoring (thank Versace, Paul Smith, and Ermenegildo Zegna), a bolt of electric blue is an easy way to pop without short-circuiting an outfit. Rogen will never pull the theatrics of, say, the Disco Emperor formerly known as Jared Leto. But he is taking a safer step towards statement dressing.
Just think: this is the same guy who played a paralegal pothead in Pineapple Express. Now, he's right in your wardrobe, and wooing a presidential candidate in Charlize Theron for his latest flick, a turnaround embodied in one very sharp outfit.
