Song Joong-ki has been announced as Louis Vuitton's latest brand ambassador. The South Korean singer, known for starring in Vincenzo, Space Sweepers, and Born Rich, joins J-Hope, Zendaya, Jackson Wang, and more.
The announcement was made by the French fashion house in a release along with a photo of Song Joong-ki. In the photo, the South Korean actor is dressed in a white long leather coat in soft nubuck with 3D ornamentation embellishments. According to Louis Vuitton, the coat is inspired by the plaster moldings of 19th-century Parisian interiors.
The actor is currently in Cannes where he is expected to make his first-ever appearance at the Cannes Film Festival for action noir film Hopeless. Directed by Kim Chang Hoon, tells the story of Yeon Gyu, an 18-year-old who lives in poverty. He meets Chi Geon, played by Song Joong-Ki, a crime boss that helps him.
