Let us escape from the special challenges of what’s happening right now, the Christmas brunch/ lunch/ reunion at your lola’s house with your very special relatives, by looking at these new images from Y-3’s spring/summer 2018 collection.

.

.

Aren’t these fantastic? Don’t you wish you were part of this sunny landscape, looking as cool—and free!—as this group of men and women? First, you’ll have to sneak out of the house first ("Excuse me, Tita Linda, I have to... feed my turtle”), and then head over to the new Y-3 store opening today, Christmas 2017, at Solaire Resorts and Casino.

Expect to find most of the pieces you see here, including the jackets, pullover, shorts, headwear, and most important, the pairs of sneakers in the Manila store. (We also want the socks with the three stripes running up the back please!) The sportswear-inclined collection, a return to the roots of the Japanese brand, which celebrates its 15th anniversary next year, is underlined with a unique Y-3 graphic: a circular logo that is a nod to the (very long) relationship of designer Yohji Yamamoto and Adidas.

One last note: This is but part one (or Chapter 1, as Y-3 calls it) of the spring/ summer 2018 collection. Expect two more drops next year, but right now, get out of the house.

The Y-3 spring/ summer 2018 Chapter 1 collection drops today at The Shoppes at Solaire.
