Remember the fashion and tech collabs of the early 2000s? Motorola x D&G? LG x Prada? Samsung x Hugo Boss? Well, we might be going back there soon, starting with American fashion designer Thom Browne and Samsung's forthcoming collaboration.

Late last week, Thom Browne officially announced his partnership with Samsung. The brand's Instagram page shared a teaser video with the caption: "I'm not ready yet..." And, there's a lot to unpack.

In the past, this kind of partnership has often catered to women so seeing a menswear-first designer attempting it is pretty exciting, to say the least.

Who knows what we'll get? Thom Browne-designed Samsung accessories? A full smartphone by the designer? A futuristic ready-to-wear collection complete with LED screens? All of the above?

Right now, the latter seems more likely. According to WWD, we'll find out all about the deal next month during the designer's New York Fashion Week but we're still not giving up on the idea of a Samsung Galaxy suited in Thom Browne's signature gray wool twill.
