Tiffany & Co. Is Dropping a Luxurious Advent Calendar to End All Advent Calendars

As one would expect, the advent calendar isn't affordable. At all.

The holidays are nearing. So, consider this a friendly reminder to get yourself an advent calendar and fast, you know, before they all fly off the shelves. Yep, we're speaking from experience after missing out on Mr Porter's annual advent calendar last year. (Trust, we won't make the same mistake again.)

However, there is one advent calendar that you can maybe take your time ordering: Tiffany & Co.'s. While there's probably still a long list of people that want their hands on it, the price tag that comes along with it means it won't be selling out that quickly. Don't take our word for it, though.

What does a Tiffany & Co. advent calendar look like? Well, for starters, the extravagant calendar isn't just a piece of cardboard with little boxes. Instead, Tiffany's is offering a four-foot-tall white oak cabinet that features Jean-Michel Basquiat's Equals Pi painting. We weren't kidding when we said this was the advent calendar to end all advent calendars—and we haven't even discussed its contents.

At $150,000 (approximately P7.6 million), the advent calendar will surely not disappoint. The cabinet contains 24 different Tiffany & Co. pieces which the retailer is keeping secret for now. The last time Tiffany & Co. released an advent calendar it was full of jewelry pieces (18k earrings, no less) and novelty items (in sterling silver, of course).

Tiffany & Co's 2021 Holiday Advent Calendar will be available soon. If you're interested, go ahead and book a private appointment with a Tiffany client advisor… on second thought, you better place an order now to ask if you can get it in the Philippines and, more importantly, if you want the advent calendar here before Christmas with shipping and all.
