New Era Teams Up With The UAAP for the Ultimate School Spirit Hats

Who's got school spirit? The New Era Cap Company has school spirit, apparently. The brand has just announced its collaboration with the University Athletic Association of the Philippines, featuring hats for each of the eight UAAP universities.
New Era, which was founded in 1920 and is based in New York, is widely considered to be one of the world's most well-established brand of caps, especially when it comes to sports and representing your favorite team. So it's great to see that the Philippine contingent of New Era has managed to wrangle an official collaboration for the UAAP, which among sporting leagues in the Philippines, inspires some passionate fanbases.
The collaboration itself is a line of eight hats—one for each school—in New Era's 9FORTY silhouette. The 9FORTY features a classic curved brim, a rounded crown, and an adjustable strap-back. It's the traditional dad hat, but with the tough, 100-percent-cotton construction that you'd expect from New Era.
The collection is now available for pre-order via the New Era website, with an expected delivery date of August 23. But it will also arrive at New Era stores by early September, just in time for the UAAP opening on September 8. The hat retails for P1,895.
