Uniqlo's AIRism Mask Is Launching Soon in the Philippines

Wearing a face mask has become a part of our lives, so it pays to have a nice stock of both medical masks and reusable ones to be safe. A bunch of our favorite brands has come out with their own versions, but you'll be happy to know that Uniqlo's in-demand mask is coming to the Philippines.

Uniqlo Philippines is still pretty mum about details, but here's what we know so far: The AIRism mask is launching very soon, and it will be available in all stores in the Philippines. If you're not entirely comfortable with going out, you'll be relieved to know that it will also be stocked at Uniqlo's online store.

What's the big deal about AIRism? Well, it's washable and feels smooth on the skin, making it as comfortable as it gets when it comes to masks. Plus, according to Uniqlo, the mask uses "a filter that delivers a bacterial filtration efficiency of 99 percent, blocking droplets and protecting the skin from bacteria, virus-contaminated particles, and pollen. Sandwiching the filter is AIRism mesh fabric."

Price upon request

No word yet on how much it will retail for here, but with Japan and the U.S. selling it for ¥990 and $14.90, respectively, we can guess the price will range from P500 to P750 and above—which isn't bad for a pack of three masks that promises comfort.
