Just yesterday, Uniqlo previewed its entire Fall/Winter 2018 collection, including a range of high-tech knits, ultra-light down jackets, and stretch denim. But the star, as usual, is Uniqlo U—the sublabel brought to you by Uniqlo's partnership with Christophe Lemaire. It's been two years since U first hit shelves, and since then we've seen the line produce beautiful collections with mainstay pieces.

But Uniqlo U is also keen to change things up every season, and the next is no different. For Fall/Winter 2018—which in our case, is just Rainy/Rainier—the line features a lot of vivid colors in bigger volumes. There are brilliant reds, bright fuschias, and rich ochres to balance out the deeper, darker browns and blues. Here are some of our favorite pieces from the collection:

While quite a few of the items in the collection are designed for coziness in cold weather (there are even more knits and fleece than usual), there are also a lot of lightweight options that fit right into our climate. The wool-blend jackets and cardigans, for example, are a nice extra layer for regular Manila mall temperatures; and the Supima cotton jersey shirts are perfect for everyday wear. Cuts are boxy and short, while colors are a nice balance of bright and subdued. It's another strong collection coming up, so take your picks and brace your wardrobe.
