Vetements x Levi’s Have Created A Denim-Sportswear Hybrid

Though Vetements has long collaborated with unlikely brands (Mackintosh, Kawasaki, and, uh, BIC lighters), another hook-up with Levi's seems a more natural fit. 

The reworked jean, released as part of the wider spring/summer '19 sportswear-denim hybrid collection, melds the classic, five pocket design with the tracksuit bottoms of The Royal Tenenbaums. Which sounds peculiar. But, in a time when we may be nearing peak sportswear saturation, it's a refreshing take on a wardrobe cornerstone that seems actually, positively new.

Granted, a flash of Ludacris red is much quieter than Vetements' usual antics, but it's still the high fashion disruptor through and through. Signature Levi's design hasn't been overshadowed, either. Further details include embroidery to the pockets, and a Vetements x Levi's leather patch.
