The Nicest Aesop We've Ever Seen Just Opened in Rockwell

Far from the typical grays and whites.

Aesop is known for several things, and a neutral minimalist store is one of them. So, imagine our surprise when we saw that the Australian skincare brand's latest outpost in the country had glossy finishes of orange and gold. It's shockingly different, and extremely nice to look at.

Of course, an Aesop store that's not completely gray isn't new. Aesop ION in Singapore was once a brass and pink wonderland. Another example is the Coros Magenta store in Milan that uses greens, yellows, and pinks. The point is, we're just happy to have a colorful Aesop right in the Philippines.

The choice to do yellow wasn't just made on a whim. In fact, the entire space is partly inspired by the bahay kubo. Look closely and you'll see that the walls mimic nipa palm leaves through brush strokes, the shelves use stilts much like a kubo, and more. See more photos of Aesop Rockwell below.

The stone-clad central sink features two taps and an angular runaway filled with products to try and experience.
