While most of us will tell you we'd be happy to go our neighborhood barbero for a haircut, that's not always true.

Men can be particular, so many of these modern "barberya" offer a smooth shave, a massage, and maybe even a cup of coffee or beer apart from getting a stylish cut from a trained barber. You can even shop for your hard-to-find sneakers!

Dads, if you want to try something new for 2019, why not get an upgrade and treat yourself to a sleek cut?

Here are eight grooming shops that give you value for your money
