We Spy A Fancy New Dress Watch From Jaeger-LeCoultre

Jaeger-LeCoultre has teamed up with Kingsman, the action-spy-comedy movie franchise noted for its spiffy tailoring, to produce a limited edition watch. The Master Ultra Thin Kingsman Knife is a classic dress watch in a 40mm pink gold case and commemorates the upcoming release of The King’s Man, an origin story again directed by Matthew Vaughn. The movie, which stars an ensemble cast that includes Ralph Fiennes, Gemma Arterton, and Tom Hollander, as well as Rhys Ifans playing Rasputin, is set in the early 1900s – so it's appropriate that Jaeger-LeCoultre has dug into its past for this watch.

The Master Ultra Thin Kingsman Knife features a gently sloping broad bezel, a nod to the traditional pocket watches in its back catalog, specifically a model known as the ‘Couteau’ from 1907. At just 4.25mm thick, though, it earns its 'ultra-thin' tag. The 100-piece limited edition has a case back engraved with the Kingsman logo and comes in a Kingsman sleeve box. Fiennes' character, the Duke of Oxford, wears the watch in the film.

To complement the capsule collections of Kingsman clothes and accessories sold through Mr Porter (Turnbull & Asser tuxedo shirt, Drake’s tie, George Cleverley loafers, etc), the new watch will be available exclusively through the online fashion retailer, before arriving in selected boutiques and the Jaeger-LeCoultre website on 6 September. The King’s Man will be cinemas from 18 September, God willing.
