These Are the Top Swiss Watch Brands, According to Study

Rolex is still king in Swiss watch land.

Though 2020 was a rocky year for watchmakers, certain brands still shined during the pandemic. A study, led by investment banking company Morgan Stanley's research arm, in collaboration with Swiss watch industry consultant LuxeConsult, has revealed the top Swiss watchmakers based on market shares and turnovers in 2020.

Unsurprisingly, Rolex holds its spot as the most powerful among the bunch. The storied brand accounts for 25 percent or one quarter of the entire Swiss watch industry, which is bonkers, to say the least. Here are the rest of the most popular Swiss watch brands, according to the study.
