President Bongbong Marcos Sported a Rare Patek Philippe on Inauguration Day

The newly elected president of the Philippines Ferdinand Romualdez Marcos Jr. started his first day in office wearing a Patek Philippe. Marcos sported the Nautilus 5980R-001 in rose gold on his wrist, the rounded octagonal bezel and sapphire-crystal case back catching the eye of observant watch aficionados.

The rare wristwatch was sold for CHF75,600 (approximately P4.35 million) in a Philips Geneva Auction in 2020, but its current private sales value is estimated to be $169,939 (about P9.35 million), according to Watch Charts.
