Tom Brady Shows Us How to Wear IWC's Top Gun Watches in New Campaign

"We're not here to try—we're here to do."

Just when you thought IWC couldn't surprise us all more after presenting its new Top Gun collection at the Watches and Wonder exhibition in Geneva, the Swiss watch manufacturer just released a worldwide campaign with brand ambassador Tom Brady. In the campaign, the seven-time World Champion quarterback wears different versions of the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Top Gun.

The collection, which takes inspiration from the world of naval aviation, also picked up on the same cues to feature in the campaign in order to accompany the ceramic colors. Colored cubes evoke the iconic landscapes of the Mojave Desert, Lake Tahoe, and leafy woodlands.

"In cinematic spots, we pair Tom Brady with selected Top Gun chronographs. The powerful images also reference the landscapes of Lake Tahoe, forests, and the Mojave Desert, which have inspired our new ceramic colors. We couldn’t have thought of anybody better than Tom to illustrate the evolution of IWC Top Gun into a style statement and expression of a distinct lifestyle,” explained Franziska Gsell, chief marketing officer of IWC Schaffhausen.

Brady, who has been an IWC brand ambassador since 2019, fully embodies that new campaign's tagline ("We're not here to try—we're here to do.") as IWC says he "keeps challenging himself and pushing to new heights."

There are also short films that show Brady in motion wearing the Pilot's Watch Chronograph Top Gun in black, sand-colored, green, and white ceramic. Watch the videos on IWC's social media channels and YouTube.
