You Might Want to Avoid This Major Road for the Next Four Months

Traffic has been reaching insane points of congestion lately, and it looks like things are about to get even worse. The Department of Public Works and Highways is scheduled to do drainage rehabilitation works along the stretch of the Ortigas Avenue Extension, every 10:00 p.m. to 5:00 a.m. from August 23 to December 8. Rehabilitation will include curbs, gutters, and sidewalks. No specific road closures have been announced, but the Public Information Office of Pasig City is telling us to expect traffic—no surprise there, really.
The avenue is a main passageway for motorists coming from the areas of Rizal to get into Pasig City. Fingers crossed that our four-month wait will be worth it!
