You Can Now Get Easytrip RFIDs in Your Barangay or Subdivision
Heads up, motorists from down south: Metro Pacific Tollways Corporation (MPTC) through the Cavite-Laguna Expressway (CALAX) is rolling out its Easytrip RFID Sticker Caravan. With this initiative, MPTC subsidiary MPT South Corporation will be bringing its Easytrip installation services to different barangays and subdivisions in the area.
To book an appointment, you first need to secure 100 applicants in your location. Then, you can send a message via the CALAX Facebook page or an email to [email protected] The announcement didn’t say which particular areas are covered, though—you can check out the official post below:
Take note that only Easytrip tags are available via this RFID Sticker Caravan. Easytrip is usable along the North Luzon Expressway (NLEX), Cavite-Manila Expressway (Cavitex), Subic-Clark-Tarlac Expressway (SCTEX), CALAX, and C5 South Link.
Also, as all motorists should know by now, the shift to the 100% cashless payment system along all tollways is right around the corner. Both the MPTC and the San Miguel Corporation may have extended their deadlines for RFID applications recently, but we still have just a few weeks to go until then. So, if you haven’t secured RFID tags for your cars, we suggest you do so in the soonest possible time.
