This Cebu Escape Just Ranked Among the Philippines’ Best Beach Resorts

Dusit Thani Mactan Cebu Resort earned another vote of confidence after placing third in the Philippines' Beach, Island + Upcountry Resorts category at the Travel + Leisure Luxury Awards Asia Pacific 2026. The recognition also makes it the highest-ranked Cebu property in the category, reaffirming its reputation as one of the country's premier island escapes.

Part of Robinsons Hotels and Resorts portfolio—the hospitality arm of Robinsons Land Corporation—the beachfront property sits within the Amisa mixed-use development on Mactan Island, offering panoramic views of Magellan Bay and easy access to Cebu's beaches, marine attractions, and cultural landmarks.

The property features 272 rooms and suites for leisure and business travelers, along with wellness and recreation facilities, a fitness center, a kids' Fun Zone, and event venues led by the pillarless Dusit Ballroom.

Guests can spend the day at its 100-meter infinity pool and sandy beachfront, unwind at Namm Spa, enjoy sunset cocktails at The View or Sunset Sports Bar, or dine at Tradewinds Café for international and local fare and Benjarong for Thai cuisine.

Presented annually by Travel + Leisure Southeast Asia, Hong Kong & Macau, the Luxury Awards honor standout hotels, resorts, airlines, cruises, spas, and travel experiences across the region. Nominees are shortlisted by the publication's editors and contributors, while the winners are determined through reader votes.

The latest recognition adds to the resort's growing list of international accolades, following its Michelin Key distinction in 2025.

Robinsons Hotels and Resorts is a unit of the Gokongwei Group, as is Summit Media, which publishes Esquire Philippines.
