It was a sweltering summer day when Esquire Thailand met S.Coups of Seventeen, but the studio atmosphere was cool and comfortable, filled with good energy. We invited him to talk about everything—his relationship with BOSS, his coworkers, and his fans.

How does the BOSS brand resonate with your own personal and professional values?
I believe I share a spirit similar to the brand’s slogan “Be Your Own BOSS.” I’m full of the confidence and ambition needed to take charge of my life and pursue my dreams. I think many people see this self-driven energy as a positive force.
What are your guiding principles as the leader of Seventeen, and how does that align with the identity of BOSS?
Leading a group as large and diverse as Seventeen requires charismatic leadership that unites the team. Beyond just leading from the front, my core value lies in creating a foundation where the entire team can achieve continuous growth. I feel that this attitude of 'responsible growth' aligns with the ethos of BOSS.

Do you have any pre-show rituals?
Before going on stage, I awaken my senses through stretching to get into the best state for performances. I also have a personal routine: applying a fragrance right before I step out. Wearing a scent I like helps me ease the tension and start the show with a refreshed mindset.
On what occasions do you find yourself reaching for BOSS?
I would choose BOSS for major events where I want to make a lasting impression on a global audience. Its unique silhouette creates a distinct presence in any setting, elevating my self-confidence.

What do you usually wear on your days off? How would you describe your style?
In my daily life, I prefer wearing comfortable, functional clothing. I go for an 'effortless' look with a natural vibe, by pairing a simple, well-fitting T-shirt with an oversized silhouette. Since BOSS offers a diverse range of products, I enjoy styling them differently depending on the occasion.
You’ve been a familiar face in the fashion world for a while now. How do you see the relationship between what you wear and the music you make?
As an artist, fashion is an extension of my music and another medium to express who I am. I see it as an important part of the process to visually convey the imagery and musical message I want to project.

What does your style say about you, and which items feel the most 'you'?
Given the nature of my job, when I need to express the mood of a particular song, I choose a look that best embodies that concept. But in everyday life, I feel most like myself in a natural vibe rather than when I'm dressing up. To me, a relaxed look that shows my authentic self is what best expresses who I am.
Tell us about your concert in Thailand.
The passion of the CARATs was as hot as Thailand’s weather—I truly enjoyed it. Since it was an outdoor show, I was worried the fans might get tired, but seeing them cheer passionately until the end actually gave me so much strength. I think I was the one who was recharged by their incredible energy.

What do you find most challenging about being an artist and being part of Seventeen?
Because I’m so eager to show fans my best, the preparation process often brings a lot of anxiety. Despite that, I feel a great sense of fulfillment once the final outcome is revealed and we see the fans' reactions. For me, the ultimate reward is that moment on stage when the members, CARATs, and I become one on stage and experience that powerful synergy.
When does the stage feel most magical?
The moment when the lights come up, flooding the stage after the blackout and the cheers erupt—it’s pure magic. From the perfect chemistry with the members, the spectacular effects to those intimate moments of making eye contact with fans on moving carts—all of these moments are precious to me.

What are your ultimate goals as an artist/idol?
I want to continue sharing this journey with CARATs for years to come, building on the decade we’ve spent together. At the same time, I’d like to deepen my own musical world and evolve as an artist by pursuing various creative projects as a solo artist.
Who are your idols? Have you ever pictured yourself as an inspiration to others?
My career idols are undoubtedly my group members. Building Seventeen together has shown me the power of our synergy; it is far greater than anything I could achieve on my own. We are each other’s closest colleagues and a source of positive motivation. Watching them pushes me to keep growing and to become a better person, both as an individual and as an artist.

What do you do during your free time, if any?
Since I’m often on the go, I prefer to spend my downtime at home as much as
possible. I like to rest and recharge my energy so I’m ready to keep going.
When you feel down, what do you turn to and how do you cope?
When I feel heavy-hearted, I spend time with people close to me and share my concerns. Talking and laughing together helps clear my mind, giving me the strength to start again.
Any message for the fans?
Thank you for always being there for us and giving us such passionate support. Let's keep having fun together and make many more happy memories for many years to come.
