Just two months after the Manila International Automotive Show (MIAS), a second big-chip car show is set to happen in the same venue.

The Philippine International Motor Show 2026 is returning to the World Trade Center Metro Manila from June 4 to 7, 2026 and organizers are promising one of the biggest editions yet.

Now on its 10th run, the biennial motor show organized by the Chamber of Automotive Manufacturers of the Philippines, Inc. (CAMPI) will bring together some of the biggest automotive brands, numerous vehicle displays, and a heavy focus on electrified mobility under the theme “Forward in Every Drive.”

Speaking during the official launch of the event, CAMPI President Jose Maria Atienza said this year’s show represents a milestone not only for the organization but also for the broader automotive industry.

“This will also be one of the biggest shows yet,” Atienza said. “When 17 exhibiting brands compete against each other in one show, presenting their very best under one roof, the Filipino customer will surely win.”

First launched in 2004, PIMS has grown into one of the country’s biggest automotive events, serving as a platform for major launches, technology showcases, and industry announcements. This year’s edition comes as the Philippine automotive market continues to recover and evolve, with electrified vehicles becoming a larger part of the conversation—and increasingly, the showroom floor.

CAMPI says around 75 of the more than 150 vehicles on display will be electrified models, reflecting how quickly the local market is shifting toward alternative energy vehicles. Visitors can expect everything from fuel-efficient hybrids to full battery electric SUVs and crossovers.

“The motor show becomes even more relevant now, as the country confronts challenges related to the ongoing fuel crisis,” said CAMPI president Jose Maria Atienza during the event launch.

That means PIMS 2026 won’t just be about flashy sports cars and concepts, but a showcase of practical mobility solutions designed around rising fuel costs and changing consumer priorities.

This year’s lineup includes a mix of established Japanese automakers, luxury EV players, and rapidly expanding Chinese brands.

Participating brands include BAIC, Chery, Foton, Geely, Honda Cars Philippines, Isuzu Philippines Corporation, Jetour Auto Philippines, Kia Philippines, MG Philippines, Mitsubishi Motors Philippines, Nissan Philippines, Omoda and Jaecoo Philippines, Subaru Philippines, Suzuki Philippines, Tesla, Toyota Motor Philippines, and VinFast Philippines.

For visitors, it’s a rare chance to compare multiple brands and technologies side by side in a single venue.

PIMS has traditionally served as a platform for local launches, and this year should be no different.

Several participating brands are expected to unveil new models, special editions, and technology previews during the four-day event. While CAMPI has yet to reveal the full launch schedule, organizers say visitors can expect displays focused on energy efficiency, smart mobility, advanced safety systems, and lectrification technologies.

“The motor show becomes even more relevant now, as the country confronts challenges related to the ongoing fuel crisis,” Atienza said. “We will present various choices and options, knowing full well that there is no single solution to the problems we face today.”

Beyond the static exhibits, PIMS 2026 will also include driving experience activities and interactive displays that allow attendees to experience the vehicles firsthand. This has become increasingly important as newer technologies, particularly hybrids and EVs, are best understood through actual use rather than spec sheets.

Visitors can look forward to test drive opportunities, hands-on demonstrations, and interactive brand activations throughout the venue.
