Get immersed into the mystical worlds from the mind of Hayao Miyazaki, such as Howl's Moving Castle, Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, and Kiki's Delivery Service via the musical genius of Gerard Salonga conducting the orchestra.
The original scores will be performed by the 83-piece Filharmonika, opening on July 31 at 8 pm, followed by August 1 at 2 pm and 7 pm, and a finale on August 2 at 2 pm. Guests are invited to come in outfits inspired by their favorite, whimsical Studio Ghibli film.
Some of these timeless tunes that you are probably familiar with are "Merry-Go-Round of Life (Howl's Moving Castle), "One Summer's Day" (Spirited Away), and "A Town with an Ocean View."
This is being put together in partnership with the Japan Foundation Manila and is officially endorsed by Studio Ghibli, coming at the heels of Miyazaki's 2024 Ramon Magsaysay Award and the 70th anniversary of diplomatic relations between the Philippines and Japan.

“I am delighted that the music of 'Attack on Titan' will be performed in full orchestral arrangements for the first time, in various concert halls around the world," Sawayano said in a statement.
"I believe this will be a concert experience unique to this tour, allowing audiences to feel a new kind of expression and grandeur that only a full orchestra can deliver — something distinct from the original band-and-orchestra format."
