Li Auto Expanding in Manila with a Showroom and a Moving Living Room
A cabin that feels less like a car and more like a rolling business class lounge

There's a quiet shift happening in the Philippine mobility landscape, and new automotive brand Li Auto is leaning into it with confidence. Fresh from the momentum of its local debut, the new premium EV brand has officially opened its second showroom in the country. First, in BGC and this time in Aseana City, while simultaneously unveiling its flagship, the Li Mega Home.
Positioned as both a showroom and a full-service hub, the new Aseana showroom signals more than just geographic expansion. Following the brand's first Philippine location in Bonifacio Global City, this second site represents Li Auto's deeper commitment to a market it deliberately chose as its first foothold in Southeast Asia. The reasoning is as strategic as it is cultural: few places value the idea of family mobility quite like the Philippines.

At the heart of the launch is the Li Mega Home, the flagship variant of the brand's all-electric MPV. If most vehicles are designed around transport, the Mega is designed around experience. Li Auto calls it "a true extension of the home," and that philosophy becomes immediately apparent once you step inside. This isn't just about space, though there's plenty of it. It is about redefining what families expect from time spent on the road.
The Mega Home sits at the top of the lineup, priced at P6.49 million, alongside the slightly more restrained Mega Ultra at P5.99 million. Both variants anchor Li Auto's push into the premium MPV segment, but the Li Auto Mega Home leans further into luxury and comfort, offering a cabin that feels less like a car and more like a rolling business class lounge. Nappa leather throughout, reclining queen seats with zero gravity functionality, massage features, and a built-in refrigerator are details that sound indulgent until you realize they're designed for long-haul family travel in real-world conditions.

This obsessive focus on passenger experience is not accidental. Founded in 2015, Li Auto built its reputation on the idea that family cars shouldn't be retrofitted compromises but purpose-built environments. That thinking extends beyond materials and into technology. Across its lineup, the brand employs its proprietary Range-Extended Electric Vehicle (REEV) system, pairing a large battery with a small-displacement engine that acts purely as a generator. The result is a claimed range of up to 1,421 kilometers, with nearly 300 kilometers achievable on pure electric power alone. In a country where charging infrastructure is still catching up, that kind of flexibility feels less like a feature and more like a necessity.
Yet it's inside the cabin where Li Auto's philosophy becomes most tangible. The vehicles are engineered to run quiet, with advanced noise, vibration, and harshness (NVH) control doing most of the heavy lifting. Add a five-screen digital ecosystem, over-the-air updates, and a LiDAR-assisted driver support system, and you begin to understand the brand's angle: technology that fades into the background so comfort can take center stage.
The new Aseana showroom has a modest footprint but is designed as an immersive space where potential buyers can experience the models on display. Operated locally by HomeAuto Philippines, the facility underscores Li Auto's intention to build not just a customer base but also a long-term ownership ecosystem.
The current local lineup ranges from the mid-size L6 to the range-topping L9 SUVs, with prices starting at P3.49 million. It's a broad offering, unified by a clear thesis: that the future of mobility, at least for families, lies in vehicles that prioritize comfort, intelligence, and adaptability over raw performance or badge prestige.

In just under a decade, Li Auto has gone from startup to global contender, reaching one million deliveries in five years. Its Philippine expansion, now marked by a second showroom and a flagship launch rolled into one event, feels less like experimentation and more like a calculated bet.
"We are committed to creating value for families by building smart electric vehicles that deliver safety, comfort, and convenience," said Li Xiang, Chairman and CEO of Li Auto.
"The opening of our Aseana Showroom marks an important milestone in bringing Li Auto's premium intelligent mobility experience closer to Filipino families," said Stone You, Chief Executive Officer of Li Auto Philippines.
