It seems the eldest son of Puregold Price Club Inc. President Lucio Co, and Bea Alonzo's husband, knows a thing or two about watches.
In the actress' recent Instagram post celebrating the high-profile wedding of the two socialites, Co Ferdinand Lucio Co is seen wearing an understated IWC Pilot Automatic 41"Black Aces" pilot's watch. It is a piece for those actually into the obsession of horology without the flash and tackiness. The watch has a fully lumed dial and hands for maximum practicality and legibility IWC is synonymous with.

The dial is definitely the standout feature of this piece with SuperLumiNova pigments and will have a greenish light for more than 23 hours. The case is also fashioned with a robust ceramic material, with indices being made out of black painted Arabic numerals. The "Black Aces" retails for about $6,800 (P419,505) as an online-only release by the luxury Swiss watch house.
Pilot watches are what made IWC a household name in the luxury watch world, with their pieces being used as tools by actual World War II fighter pilots because of their ginormous crowns for ease of use in battle.
While not the most outrageous piece a business tycoon can wear on their wedding day, the IWC pick is definitely one of particular taste and one of intentional watch-buying habits.
The elder Co has been Puregold's chairman since incorporation in 1998 until 2022 and is the current president. Vincent's mother served as vice chairman from 1998 to 2023, when she was elected chairman. The husband-and-wife duo has a combined net worth of $2.3 billion, as of 2024, according to Forbes. They ranked ninth in Forbes' Philippines 50 Richest in 2024 and ranked 1121 in Forbes' Billionaires list in 2016.
The younger Co got a seat on the board of directors in 2003. He was first elected president on May 12, 2015. The Puregold scion earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Entrepreneurial Management from the University of Asia and the Pacific in 2003.
Aside from his position in Puregold, Vincent is also the elected Chairman and President of Alerce Holdings Corp., Blue Ocean Foods, Inc., Forbes Corporation, Invesco Company, Inc., KMC Realty Corporation, League One, Inc., PPCI Subic Inc., Patagonia Holdings Corp., Purepadala, Inc., and VFC Land Resources, Inc., Filmore Holdings Incorporated, Illido Management Corporation, Azora Holdings Incorporated, SPC Resources Inc.; Chairman of Pinehurst Creek Holdings Corporation, South Coast Automotive Group, Inc. and Pure Commerce, Inc.; President of Ayagold Retailers, Inc., Entenso Equities, Inc., Union Equities, Inc., Aracena Holdings Corporation, Blue Origin Holdings Incorporated, Imperium Holdings, Inc.; and Director of Bellagio Holdings, Inc., Blue Ocean Holdings, Inc., Canaria Holdings Corporation, Cosco Price, Inc., Ellimac Prime Holdings, Inc., Fertuna Holdings Corp., Meritus Prime Distributions, Inc., P.G.
