Filipino Talents Join the 'Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular' in Manila

Among them are Lea Salonga, Rachelle Ann Go, Red Concepción, and Emily Bautista.

GMG Productions just revealed the cast list for the much-awaited Boublil and Schonberg's Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular, which is set to open on January 20, 2026, at The Theatre at Solaire.


Joining acclaimed West End and Broadway performers are Filipino talents Lea Salonga as Madame Thénardier, Rachelle Ann Go as Fantine, Red Concepción as Thénardier, and Emily Bautista as Éponine.

The four artists have previously starred in other productions of Les Misérables.

Salonga has previously played the roles of both Éponine and Fantine in Les Misérables on Broadway. She has also appeared as Éponine in the 10th Anniversary concert at the Royal Albert Hall and as Fantine in the 25th Anniversary concert at the O2. Salonga originated the role of Kim in Miss Saigon in both the West End and Broadway, where she earned the Olivier, Tony, Drama Desk, and Outer Critics Circle Awards for her performance.


Go played Fantine in Les Misérables in the West End. She also joined Miss Saigon on Broadway and in the West End as Gigi, and the West End premiere of Hamilton (as well as its international tour) as Eliza.


Concepcion previously played the role of Thénardier in Les Misérables at The Muny, St. Louis Municipal Opera Theatre. He was also The Engineer in the Miss Saigon production that went on tour across the US, UK, and Ireland.


Bautista has played the role of Éponine in the North American tour. She was also Kim in Miss Saigon's North American tour.

Argentine singer Gerónimo Rauch (Les Misérables, Jesus Christ Superstar) plays the role of Jean Valjean, while Australian actor and singer Jeremy Secomb (Les Misérables, The Phantom of the Opera, Sweeney Todd: The Demon Barber of Fleet Street) takes on the role of Javert. They are joined by Will Callan as Marius, Lulu-Mae Pears as Cosette, Harry Chandler as Enjolras, and Earl Carpenter as the Bishop of Digne.

Les Misérables: World Tour Spectacular is an expansion of the Les Misérables: The Staged Concert, which played over 200 performances in the West End. This means that it's ultimately a showcase of musicians, among them a significant number of Filipinos: John Gerald Calma, Dino Decena, Mary Anne Espina, Francisco Llorin, Mhaze Lim, Jonathan Livioco, Dondon Lucena, Luke Manuel, Kier Manimtim, Marloe Maruyama, Gabriel Mendoza, Paul Ramos, Coi Reyes, Steve Retallick, Raymond Sarreal, Jordan San Jose, and Miko Villena.
