1| Dennis Trillo's got mad rap skills.

We know for a fact that he's a versatile actor with multiple awards. He's also musically talented and can bang on the drums, as seen in his duet videos with his wife, Jennylyn Mercado. He's fond of making entertaining TikTok videos for his fans. But not many know that he can also bust a rhyme. "Kasi nung bata ako, yun talaga yung kinamulatan kong mga tugtog, rap—Andrew E., Francis Magalona," he shares. When Sam Milby challenged him to showcase his rapping skills, he effortlessly delivered Francis M's "Baw-Waw-Waw" from the album Freeman.

2| Music is Sam Milby's biggest passion.

If he weren't in show business, Sam believes he would still be involved in the music industry, though more behind the scenes. In his One-on-One with Dennis, Sam shares that he plans to learn music production this year. "I've always been interested in technology, so I feel like learning sound engineering may be a good fit for me," he says. Being "very introverted," he enjoys staying at home most of the time, and tinkering on his computer is one of his favorite pastimes.

3| Dennis considers having a complete family his greatest achievement in life.

While he is proud of the acting accolades he has received over the years, his true joy comes from his family—Jennylyn and their children. "At the end of the day, lahat ng mga pinaghihirapan mo bilang artista, o kahit anumang trabaho, lahat yun, ginagawa mo para sa pamilya. And, feeling ko, masarap lang yung pakiramdam na ako yung tumutulong buhayin silang lahat at i-maintain na maging masaya silang lahat," he says.

4| Dennis was initially intimidated by Sam.

When Dennis found out that he would be playing romantic leads with Sam in Everything About My Wife, he felt both excited and intimidated at first. "Kasi yung huling movie na napanood ko sa kanya, yung Replacing Chef Chico, [where he plays Chico himself, a head chef who's short-tempered and resistant to change]," says Dennis. "So, iniisip ko pa, baka masungit 'to. Inglesero pa. Mali ako, mali ako. Ang galing niya pala talaga [ni Sam] doon. Sa totoo, mabait siya. Napaka-humble, down-to-earth. Simple lang. Generous. Kaya sabi ko, 'excited akong makatrabaho siya.'"

5| The best prank Dennis ever pulled happened on the set of Green Bones.

"Bihira akong mag-prank at bihira rin yung may nagpa-prank sa akin," Dennis shares. "Pero nung ginagawa ko yung Green Bones, habang inaayusan ako ng prosthetics team—na usually takes about two hours to finish—kunyari, tulog lang ako. Tapos, habang ginagawa nila ang prosthetics ko, bigla na akong sumigaw nang sobrang lakas. So, nagulat sila."

6| Dennis loves eating sinigang with patis and sugar as sawsawan.

This is an unusual food combination that he got from Jennylyn. Apparently, the mix of sourness, saltiness, and sweetness excites the couple's palates.

7| Sam first worked with Dennis for a telco ad in the mid-2000s.

"Meron kaming ginawang ad noon for Smart, kasama si Angel [Locsin] at si [Anne Curtis]. Meron kaming mga pictures sa mga prepaid cards," recalls Dennis. Apparently, they did a photo shoot for that. But prior to the Smart ad, Dennis first encountered Sam when they both auditioned for a Close-Up commercial. "Nag-audition din ako para doon," Dennis reveals. "Pero hanggang doon lang ako sa final casting... Tapos nakita ko yung commercial. Sabi ko, 'Ah, siya pala yung natanggap.'" Sam laughs at the surprise.
