OG is Summit Media's flagship video-first brand. And like all Summit Media brands, OG is all about top-notch storytelling that entertains, inspires, and connects with audiences. While the term “OG” initially stood for original gangster, it has since been used to mean something distinctive or groundbreaking, or something impressive or legit. In this channel, we’re featuring Filipino OGs—exceptional Filipinos making their mark in the world, regular Juans doing remarkable things in their community, and ordinary citizens making a difference in their own unique way. We’re also highlighting an assortment of unusual places, traditions, and innovations that are all proudly Filipino. 

For its debut series, OG puts the spotlight on our vibrant OPM scene. We’re uncovering the stories behind the songs from some of our favorite bands and artists. In the process, we’re getting to know these hitmakers a bit more intimately, helping us understand their influence on Filipino culture that will undoubtedly live on for generations to come.
