Tiny Beautiful Things Announces Full Cast for November Run
The title Tiny Beautiful Things might already be familiar to many, as it was also a critically acclaimed limited TV series that came out in April 2023. It was originally a self-help book (2012) by Cheryl Strayed, then a play by Nia Vardalos, Thomas Kail, and Marshall Heyman with a 2016 New York run. Get ready to relive those heartfelt moments as Tiny Beautiful Things: A Play About Life – In Letters makes its Philippine premiere on November 16 at Power Mac Center Spotlight, Circuit Makati.
Brought to life by The Sandbox Collective, this stage adaptation promises to be a captivating exploration of love, loss, and the power of empathy. It chronicles the journey of Sugar, an anonymous advice columnist whose empathetic responses touched the lives of countless readers.

Bar Boys: A New Musical Announces Final Cast for October Rerun

The play will feature the talented Iza Calzado in the lead role of Sugar. Joining her is a stellar ensemble cast, including Rody Vera (Otelo, Rak of Aegis), Gabby Padilla (I Love You, You’re Perfect, Now Change, Billie & Emma, Gitling), Ketchup Eusebio (Ang Tanging Ina, Heneral Luna), Brian Sy (Mula sa Buwan, Lungs), and Regina De Vera (Betrayal), who will lend their voices to the poignant letters shared with Sugar.
Under the direction of Gawad Buhay awardee Jenny Jamora, Tiny Beautiful Things is set to be a visually stunning and emotionally resonant production. Joining behind the scenes are Marcel David as assistant director, Kayla Teodoro as set designer, Kiefer Sison as lighting and technical director, Arvy Dimaculangan as sound designer, Krystal Kane as costume stylist, and JV Rabano as photographer.
Tiny Beautiful Things runs from November 16 to December 8, 2024, at the Power Mac Center Spotlight Black Box Theater, Circuit Makati. Tickets are available through Ticket2Me.
