Save the Date: Art Fair Philippines 2025 Is Moving to a 'New' Venue
Since 2013, Art Fair Philippines has always called The Link its home, except for the curveball that was the pandemic—when it shifted online in 2021 and then moved to the Ayala Triangle Gardens in 2022. With 2024 coming to a close, organizers of the annual ArtFairPH just announced event dates for 2025: February 21 to 23, as well as a new [old] venue: Ayala Triangle Gardens.

Looking Back at Art Fair Philippines at the Ayala Triangle Gardens
It can be remembered that when Art Fair Philippines 2022 was held at the Ayala Triangle Gardens, only the special exhibitions were featured at the open-air venue. Meanwhile, the usual exhibitions of participating galleries were posted online.

The park was maximized at the time, with the ArtFairPH/Projects curated by Norman Crisologo laid out at the Ayala Tower One Area. Scaffolding and platforms were put up, adding (physical) depth to an otherwise flat space. Works in progress from the ArtFairPH/Residencies were also on display at Ayala Tower One.

The covered walk of the Serpentine Gardens, on the other hand, housed the works of Mark Nicdao, Neal Oshima, Michael Salientes, and Gio Panlilio. Then, digital films by New York-based new media artist Jeremy Couillard were screened at Ayala Triangle Gardens' open-air amphitheater.Â
The green patch of the park was used through the addition of AR Art Trail, where visitors followed an interactive augmented reality trail through the daata mobile app.
Not much has been revealed about Art Fair Philippines 2025, but we're already looking forward to how organizers will use the Ayala Triangle Gardens this time around.
