Drink to the Philippine Elections With Limited-Edition Presidente Brandy from Emperador

If there was ever a time to get hammered, this is it. And if there was ever a drink to shake off your post-election feelings, Emperador, Inc.'s limited-edition Presidente Brandy should do the trick.

According to Emperador, the release of its Presidente Brandy this month is meant to commemorate the recent national elections, where the Philippines saw a 55.5-million voter turnout, or about 82.6 percent of registered voters.

"With the intention to celebrate the incoming presidency in 2022, we conceived this project as far back as 2020," said Emperador, Inc. Head of Premium Brandy Luke Polintan. "For us, this represents a new era of growth and reflects the resilience of the Filipino people amidst the current global challenges."

The Presidente Brandy was created in collaboration with Manuel Valcarcel, master blender in Jerez dela Frontera, Spain. It's a brandy that is said to "celebrate the victory and success of the Filipino nation."

For this limited-edition drink, the brandy company focused on a taste profile that exhibits vibrant and youthful undertones. It possesses notes of caramel toffee, dried raisins, orange marmalade, and a subtle hint of luscious chocolate. The drink is delicate, velvety, and easy on the palate, and can be enjoyed neat, over ice, or even mixed with soda.

A limited number of Presidente Brandy bottles will be sold in select stores and online outlets nationwide very soon.
