Best Hotel Buffets in Metro Manila for Christmas and New Year
Filipinos never take Christmas Eve and New Year's Eve lightly. Most of us celebrated it the same way for years: slaving away in the kitchen the whole day to cook a Noche Buena (or Media Noche) spread for the whole barangay, going to mass before midnight, and, finally, eating our hearts out. (Best of luck to the person assigned to pack the leftovers and wash the dishes.)
But if you're finally ready to let go of old ways, sit back, relax, and really enjoy a good meal, many hotels in Metro Manila offer a sumptuous buffet for Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day. Most of them end dinner service at 10 p.m., but others have special celebrations as people wait for the strike of 12. Just think about all the extra time you have for an after-party with your chosen family. (You know what we mean.)

The Peninsula Manila
The festive season is a huge deal for five-star hotel The Peninsula Manila. Merrymaking starts with the lighting of their iconic 45-foot-tall Christmas Tree at The Lobby in October and continues with the annual Christmas Concert on the first day of December. For Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year's Eve, and New Year's Day, there are several hotel dining offerings.
On December 24, The Upper Lobby will serve a merienda buffet for P2,888, while The Lobby will have a dinner buffet for P7,888. Escolta will have a lunch buffet for P3,888 and a dinner buffet for P5,888. Their fine dining restaurant, Old Manila, will serve a four-course set dinner menu for P8,888. Those looking for a la carte lunch and dinner can head to Spices, which will serve diners from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for a minimum consumption of P3,888; while The Bar is open from 4 p.m. to 2 a.m. for post-Noche Buena drinks.
On December 25, The Lobby will serve a la carte breakfast, lunch, and dinner; while The Upper Lobby will be open for a merienda buffet for P2,888. Escolta will have a special Lunch Roast (P5,888) and Dinner Buffet (P3,888). Old Manila and Spices will also be open for a la carte lunch and dinner.
For the New Year countdown on December 31, The Lobby will host a Gala Ball and Dinner Buffet for P19,888. Escolta will be open for a lunch buffet (P3,888) and dinner buffet (P6,888). Old Manila will have a five-course set dinner for P11,888. Spices will be open for a la carte lunch and dinner, still with a minimum consumption of P3,888 per person.

Hilton Manila
Hilton Manila's Kusina Sea Kitchens hosts a month-long buffet starting with the Festive Season Buffet from December 1 to 23, with the weekend lunch priced at P2,800++ and dinner buffet at P3,000++.
Their Christmas Eve Buffet will feature Whole Native Lechon, Roasted U.S. Prime Ribs, Cajun Lobster, and Buttered Curacha, all for P3,500++. On Christmas Day, they will serve a lunch buffet (P3,500) and dinner buffet (P3,000) as well.
Then, from December 26 to 30, they will have the Christmas Feast with a lunch buffet at P2,800++ and a dinner buffet at P3,000.
The countdown to 2025 will be marked with a New Year's Eve Dinner Buffet (P3,000), featuring Ichiban Sashimi Selections, Smoked House Herb-Roasted U.S. Prime Ribs, Brine Roasted Turkey, Lechon Carving, and Imperial Wok Asian dishes. The special countdown party at the Vega Pool comes with an additional entrance of P1,500++ per adult.

Sheraton Manila Hotel
Sheraton Manila will be serving Christmas Eve and Christmas Lunch Buffet for P3,900. The bountiful spread will have Roasted Stuffed Turkey, Rib-Eye, Leg of Ham, Cochinilla, Sausages, Seafood Paluto, and Whole Yellowfin Tuna Sashimi. Unlimited wine and beer are also included.
New Year's Dinner Buffet will have a similar spread for P3,900.

Edsa Shangri-La, Manila
Edsa Shangri-La, Manila's holiday offerings have something for everyone. If you're into poolside grills, they will have a Christmas Eve Set Dinner for P2,500 net and a New Year's Eve Set Dinner for P3,200 at the Pool Bar. If you love Japanese dishes, they have the Feast of a Thousand Pleasures (P4,500 net) at the Matsuri Buffet by Senju on Christmas Day Lunch, New Year's Eve Dinner, and New Year's Day Lunch. Christmas Eve Dinner (P4,500 net) and New Year's Eve Dinner (P5,500) at the Lobby Lounge are for those who want musical entertainment.
Finally, Edsa Shangri-La, Manila's claim-to-fame HEAT, will have a special holiday spread for Christmas Eve Dinner (P3,900 net) from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., Noche Buena (P2,250 net) from 11:30 p.m. to 1:30 a.m., Christmas Day Brunch (P4,200 net), Christmas Day Dinner (P3,900 net), New Year's Eve Dinner (P3,900), and New Year's Day Brunch (P4,200).

Diamond Hotel's Corniche is an upscale buffet restaurant that has a curated selection of Asian and Western cuisines. Their dining vouchers, which can easily be bought online, feature a Christmas Eve Dinner Buffet (P4,480) and Christmas Day Lunch or Dinner Buffet (P4,250). The restaurant also offers a special New Year's Eve Dinner for P2,716 (from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m.) and for P4,999 (from 8 p.m. onwards).
Bigger groups can avail of their family set meals for six at Yurakuen (P10,748) on Christmas Eve or Christmas Day; or the family set for four (P7,998) and family set for six (P10,748) on New Year's Eve or New Year's Day.

The Bellevue Manila
Indulge in Roasted Turkey, Roasted Rib Eye, and Tuscon Pork Belly at The Bellevue Manila's Qsina on Christmas Eve. Their dinner buffet from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. costs P2,988 per person.
Their Chinese dining restaurant, Phoenix Court, features a set menu available on December 24 and 25 and January 1. Groups of six to eight people can dine for P23,500 net, while groups of 10 to 12 persons can dine for P29,800 net.

Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria
Crowne Plaza Manila Galleria's Seven Corners Restaurant is known for its seven unique stations, thus the name. It presents a variety of international cuisines, including Italian, Japanese, Indian, Asian, Western, dessert, and salad corners.
The buffet is open for Christmas Eve Dinner (P3,500 net), Noche Buena (P2,300 net), Christmas Day Lunch (P3,500), Christmas Day Dinner (P3,500), and New Year's Eve Dinner (P3,500).

Discovery Primea
Discovery Primea dubs its holiday offerings with the tagline "Tales of Wonder," from room packages to holiday dining.
For Noche Buena, they have a Spanish-themed buffet, where diners can enjoy classic dishes like Paella De La Tierra, Slow Roasted USDA Beef Belly, and an array of authentic tapas. Mains include Basque Chicken, Pescado a la Veracruzana, Rabo de Toro, and Callos. The Noche Buena Tradition at Restaurant Tapenade starts at 6 p.m. and charges P2,500++ per person.
On New Year's Eve, they have an Italian-inspired buffet spread with fresh salads, antipasti, and a carving station with a Slow Roasted USDA Beef belly. The Salad Bar has cold cuts and premium cheeses. Dining starts at 6 p.m. and costs P1,800++ per person.
Flame Restaurant, which is located 16 stories above the city, is offering an all-beef tasting menu throughout December for P4,500. On New Year's Eve, there's a special Tomahawk Rib-Eye Roast Dinner for P17,000 (five to six pax) or for P35,000 (eight to 10 pax).

Seda Manila Bay
Seda Manila Bay's Misto will have a Christmas Eve Special Dinner Buffet with live entertainment from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. for P3,200 net. The Christmas Festive Lunch Buffet is at P2,500 net, while the New Year's Eve Special Dinner Buffet is at P32,00 net.
The Straight Up Rooftop Bar has a Sear and Sizzle Christmas Eve Dinner Buffet for P1,400. If you want to join the New Year's Eve Countdown Party from 10 p.m. to 12 a.m., the price is P3,500.
Seda Manila Bay is at Asean Avenue corner Abueva Road, Aseana City

Conrad Manila
Brasserie on 3 has some fabulous year-end spreads, from hearty roasts to delectable desserts during the holidays. The Christmas Eve Dinner Buffet (P4,500 net) and Christmas Buffet (Lunch and Dinner for P4,500 net) includes Lechon Baka, Puto Bumbong, Bibingka, Castanas, Cochinillo, Slow-Roasted Sirloin Steak, and wines and cocktails.
The New Year's Eve Dinner Buffet includes one round of sparkling wine and mocktail, Cochinillo, Slow-Roasted Sirloin Steak, a Japanese station, local and international dishes, and desserts. There's also a photobooth and live band as the crowd counts down to 2025. Price is at P5,000 net for a view of the bay, and P4,700 for indoor seating.
New Year's Day Buffet is at P2,900 for lunch and P3,200 for dinner.

City of Dreams
Nobu Manila will be having a five-course dinner tasting menu on December 24 and 25 for P6,653.57 net. The menu includes a complimentary chef's choice of appetizer, sampler of Nobu Sashimi, assorted sushi and Chawanmushi with rock shrimp and truffle, Braised Wagyu Short Ribs with wasabi mashed potato and cranberry sake-mirin reduction, and finally, the Chestnut Brûlée with chocolate sorbet and tonka bean foam.
Hyatt Regency Manila is also open for a lunch and dinner buffet on December 24 and 25 for P3,799 net. For lunch, the spread will include Slow-Roasted Wagyu Whole Beef Leg, Masala-rubbed Roasted Trevally, Thai-style Whole Fried Chicken, and Crispy Pata. The dinner buffet will feature the Roasted Peking Duck and Tuna and Salmon Sashimi. Price is inclusive of free-flowing juices, coffee, tea, local draft beer, and red and white wine.

Grand Hyatt Manila
The Grand Kitchen will be open from 5:30 p.m. to 9:30 p.m. on Christmas Eve for a special dinner buffet at P4,500 net. Enjoy holiday classics as well as free-flowing juices, sodas, house lager, and house wines. The Noche Buena Feast at The Grand Kitchen is from 11 p.m. to 1:30 a.m. for P3,500 net.
The Lounge will also have its own antipasti buffet and plated entree for P3,900 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m.
On Christmas Day, you can avail yourself of the lunch buffet or the dinner buffet, each for P4,500. It is inclusive of a carving station.
For the New Year's Eve Dinner Buffet, The Grand Kitchen will have a diverse menu for P5,500.
