According to JobStreet, These Are the Schools That Produce the Most 'Hireable' Candidates
Because of the competitiveness of the job market, candidates will take any edge they can get. This starts with entering the right school for their particular field of choice. Much has been said about the rankings of each university on the international stage recently, and rightfully so. Hirers, too, have particular preferences in terms of the best institutions they source their employees from.
A new study by JobStreet explored just that. The online job portal ranked the leading educational institutions where most employers source their candidates. The survey was said to have involved 700 companies across 42 industries back in May 2023. Employers also reportedly looked at other factors like candidates' self-esteem, location, and alumni status,

Here, their survey concluded that most employers still consider the Polytechnic University of the Philippines as the top school for hireable employees among the college and universities in the country.
According to JobStreet, PUP retained the top slot at 23 percent, followed by the University of the Philippines, and De La Salle University. UP, on the other hand, is the leading school where most companies want to hire from. It's also worth noting that UP and DLSU candidates have quite the reputation, known for the "alignment of their institutions to the industries of hirers." Meanwhile, PUP graduates are often considered "effective team players" at work.
JobStreet claims that most companies who recruit from PUP and UP come from the information technology, human resources, and business process outsourcing industries. DLSU students are most desirable in healthcare and real estate.
