As the Cleveland Cavaliers continue to struggle against the Boston Celtics in the 2018 Eastern Conference Finals, heated discussions about LeBron James as the "Greatest of All Time" are coming to a head yet again. So ESPN really picked the perfect time to announce their collaboration with Netflix: a 10-part documentary series on the other subject of the same discussion: Michael Jordan.

Earlier this week, the sports media network posted a teaser for The Last Dance, a collaboration with Netflix that's slated to drop in 2019. Check it out:

The series will be directed by Jason Hehir, who also made documentaries on The Beatles, Andre the Giant, and the NFL's Chicago Bears of 1985. Jordan himself will participate in the production, along with other members of the Chicago Bulls championship teams, and other legends of basketball. Plus, the series will pull from an archive of over 500 hours of never-before-seen footage from the Bulls' 1997-1998 season, which saw Jordan nab his sixth ring.

There have been at least two other documentaries about Michael Jordan: 2000's Michael Jordan to The Max and 2011's Ultimate Jordan. But considering the resources behind this 2019 production, this may yet be one of our most intimate looks into the life of the legend.
