Rap Star Rich Brian is Making a Stop in Manila in December
At the heels of dropping his third studio album Where is My Head? Indonesian/88 Rising hip-hop superstar Brian Imanuel "Rich Brian" Soewarno has announced a Manila show on December 8, where he is set to perform songs from his first full length LP since 2019.
The third studio album from the rapper who gained prominence on SoundCloud and on comedy videos on YouTube is largely self-produced and includes 15 tracks on heatbreak, ambition, and self-reinvention.
Rich Brian, who started his career under the rap name Rich Chigga, skyrocketed to stardom in 2016 after dropping his debut single "Dat Stick," and "Glow Like Dat" a year later.
The 88rising label has gained popularity in recent years for promoting and managing Asian artists such as Joji, Keth Ape, Niko, and Rich Brian.
The Indonesian rapper has previously played in Manila during the "Head in the Clouds" festival organized by 88rising at the SMDC Concert Grounds. Other Asian stars such as Jackson Wang, Atarashii Gakko! and Joji were part of the lineup.

The album also saw Rich Brian exploring genres and styles with collaborations with Toro Y. Moi, Charlotte Day Wilson, DAISY WORLD, Ski Mask The Slump God, Kurtis Wells and redveil.
The record revolves around Brian reflecting on the fallout of a long-term relationship, the guilt of missing key family milestones and his quest to find himself while navigating between cultures and expectations.
Tickets will be made available at Live Nation Philippines' website on August 25.
Based on ticket prices publisehd by Live Nation, Balcony ticket prices at the New Frontier Theater for her show start at P1,500 to P2,500, Loge prices at P3,500, Floor B Standing will cost P4,500 and while Floor A Standing are at P5,000. There will also be a VIP early entry package worth P8,700 inclusive of a merch bundle curated by Rich Brian, a VIP exclusive poster a lanyard and early entry into the performance hall. There will also be a meet and greet package worth P13,700 with a pre-show photo with Rich Brian.
