In Its 10th Year, Wanderland Goes Back to Basics

Hard to believe, but Wanderland—arguably the country’s biggest and best international music festival—is staging its 10th edition this month. The annual music and arts festival organized by Karpos Multimedia (and supported by Esquire Philippines) will once again be held at the Filinvest City Events Grounds in Alabang, Muntinlupa on March 22 and 23, 2025.

This year, returning favorites Daniel Caesar and Honne are headlining both days of the festival, with a few new names and, of course, some of the most exciting Filipino acts. It’s a return of sorts to what made Wanderland so exciting and fun in the first place—core acts featuring niche artists that appeal to relatively younger crowds. It’s a formula that has consistently worked to attract not just local festival-goers but audiences from across the region as well.

Joining Caesar and Honne are Australian singer-songwriter Chet Faker—who first gained wide recognition for a funky cover of Blackstreet’s “No Diggity,” but has since gone on to establish a name for himself for his indie-alternative sound—and American indie pop artist Day Glow. Also in the mix are American pop-rock band Plain White Ts’s—who listeners will recognize for their massive hit “Hey There Delilalh” among many others, and returning Australian indie rock favorites The Paper Kites.

Other acts to watch out for are Yung Kai, the Chinese artist who has soundtracked countless reels and social media posts with his languid song “Blue” and many others, and a host of some of the best and most talented Filipino artists like Urbandub, Sinosikat, Dilaw, Nameless Kids, and Toneejay.
