Esports Player 'Domeng' Has Died at 22

Domino “Domeng” Magbanua, a professional player in League of Legends: Wild Rift, has passed away. Magbanua played jungler role for his team, Fennel Adversity. 

Fennel Adversity announced the sad news in a Facebook post on November 7, 2022. 

“On November 6, Domeng, a member of our League of Legends: Wild Rift division (Philippines) passed away. We pray for the soul of the deceased and extend our deepest condolences to the family,” the organization said.

The Ilonggo player was one of the “first great players” of Wild Rift, says Rumble Royale, elevating the game’s mechanical play to heights never seen in the game before. As Fennel’s jungler, Magbanua plays a crucial role in carrying securing kills and major buffs for the team. 

This has prompted individuals to ask about the future of the team. Fennel urged the public to “refrain from making individual inquiries as we are all deeply saddened by the loss.” 

“We will report on the future direction of the team as soon as details are finalized,” it added.
