Most Women Don't Orgasm During Sex. Here's What You Can Do About It

Pleasure gap. Most men don't know what it is, but it's actually a real thing: it's the gap of satisfaction between partners while having sex. An astonishing 61 percent of Filipino women enjoy sex less than their partners. Most of them fake their orgasm during sex and give more than they receive.

To give you the bird’s eye view of this bedroom problem, here are a few statistics:

•  22 percent of Filipino women don’t orgasm during sex 
•  64 percent Filipino women want more satisfaction in bed
•  76 percent of them desire more foreplay

Pleasure gap is real between heterosexual partners, and condoms might play a vital role to close it. Another statistic says that 80 percent of women prefer sex with a condom as it makes them feel safe, protected, and cared for.

The Unequal Dinner

A recent social experiment by condom and personal lubricant brand Durex let the gentlemen feel what it's like to be on the other side of the pleasure gap. What was suppose to be a special dinner party turned out to be a not-so-satisfying experience for the male guests. While the ladies enjoyed a hassle-free dinner, the gentlemen experienced receiving late appetizer, cold soup, and servers who barely paid attention to them.

Of course, it was revealed shortly that all these antics were staged. Organizers also played this video to help men understand the pleasure gap.

The night's highlight were the sentiments shared by the guests on the inequality in the bedroom, the importance of elevating orgasm through authentic and equal pleasure, and the power of pleasurable and protected sex.

How to Close the Pleasure Gap

Open Communication

Everything starts with intimate communication: knowing their wants, their desires, and their idea of satisfaction. And you should tell them yours, too. At the end of the day, sex is more enjoyable if all parties are having a good time.

Explore Uncharted Areas

Explore new things such as trying different sex positions and using sex toys. If you haven’t tried using them, now is the time. Fellas, toys are not your enemies.

Practice Safe Sex

As the study showed, most women prefer having sex with a condom, as it makes them feel safe and protected. Nothing is more pleasurable than having sex without any fear of STDs and unwanted pregnancy.
