Anvaya Cove Ranked No.1 Golf Course in Southeast Asia
Anvaya Cove Golf & Sports Club has been named the number one golf course in Southeast Asia in the prestigious Top 100 Golf Courses Asia list. Ranked No. 15 across Asia, Anvaya outshone some of the region’s renowned courses including Vietnam’s Hoiana Shores Golf Club (No. 16) and Singapore’s Sentosa Golf Club Serapong Course (No. 17).
The award was formally presented by Jung-Tae Kim, chairman of the Top 100 Golf Courses Asia Panel of Raters, who flew in personally to hand over the honor to key representatives of Ayala Land Premier (ALP) and Anvaya Cove. The ranking is a collaborative effort between Golf Travel Korea and Golf Travel China magazines.
Jose Dagdagan, Ayala Land Premier Clubs General Manager; Raymund Bunquin, Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club General Manager; Joshua de Jesus and Tin Apale-Zaide of Ayala Land Premium Land and House Project Development receive the award from Jung-Tae Kim, chairman of the Top 100 Golf Courses Asia Panel of Raters.

Over the years, the golf and leisure destination has received recognition for its thoughtful course design, efforts in sustainability, and quality of guest experience, earning a place among the country’s respected golf courses. It has received honors from the Asian Golf Awards, Asia Pacific Golf Awards, World Golf Awards, Golf Digest, Golf Travel, and Sustainable Golf Course.
But as Ayala Land Premier Club General Manager Jose Dagdagan puts it, earning an international award this year carries a different kind of significance. “Anvaya Cove Golf and Sports Club has been rated 15 among Asia's top 100 golf courses. To put that into perspective, Asia has nearly 7,000 golf courses. Only three from the Philippines made it to the top 100 list,” he says in his speech. The other two were ranked 87 (The Country Club in Tagaytay Highlands) and 94 (Sherwood Hills Golf Club in Trece Martires City).
The Golf & Sports Club's 18-hole golf course spans 7,200 yards with a par of 72, offering a well-rounded challenge for players of all skill levels.

“So this award means a lot to us. This is huge. And certainly it is humbling and inspiring. It inspires us to keep raising the bar to protect what makes Anvaya truly special and to lead by example in service, in sustainability, and in honoring the spirit of the game,” he added.

According to Mr. Kim, the golf courses were ranked by 72 judges based on six criteria. First is shot value. “Whether you hit the ball well or poorly, there should always be a clear point of view,” he explained. Second is the memorability of the course layout. Third is equitability, or how well the course accommodates players of varying skill levels and physical capabilities through thoughtfully designed tee placements. Fourth is aesthetics, referring to the overall visual appeal and setting of the golf course, including its natural beauty, landscape design, and how harmoniously it integrates with its surroundings. Fifth is course management, which considers how well the course is maintained and operated. Sixth is the quality of service, including guest experience, staff professionalism, and the range of facilities and amenities available, such as locker rooms, showers, saunas, and dining options.
