The Biggest ASICS Flagship Store in Southeast Asia Just Opened in Makati
When we think of ASICS, we think of, say, the brand's Gel cushioning system for one thing. We also think of a shoe with a wider toe box. Since 1949, it's been known as one of the most durable running shoes in the market for a reason.Â
ASICS has since been enjoyed by a legion of athletes and sports enthusiasts worldwide. Recently, the Japanese shoe brand gave its Filipino fans a treat by opening the biggest ASICS flagship store in Southeast Asia. Not to mention, it also opens its very own running club in the process.
The new ASICS concept store at Glorietta 2, Makati City gives us official footwear, apparel, and accessories. These encompass the brand's Performance Run, Core Performance Sports, and Sportstyle categories.
Among some highlights, of course, include the GEL-NIMBUS 25, regarded as one of the most comfortable running shoes around. Also seen at the store are the GT 2000 11 TR, METASPEED+, EX89, GEL-NYC from the Nagino collection. We can expect to see more monostore exclusive items before the end of the quarter.

Interestingly, the concept store also has a foot ID space, which comes with a 3D foot scanner that has an advanced 3D Foot Mapping System. This means that it tells us how our feet will do in various scenarios. It tells us what kind of ASICS pair works for us, as well.
The concept store's opening also comes with the announcement of the exclusive ASICS Running Club. Led by Coaches Precious Que and Jasper Tanhueco, ARC sessions are scheduled for every Wednesday at ASICS Bonifacio Store and the last Sunday of every month at ASICS Glorietta Store.
A Closer Look at the ASICS Flagship Store
The new ASICS concept store can be found on the ground floor of Glorietta 2, Ayala Center, Makati. They are open daily from 10 a.m. to 9 p.m. (Monday to Thursday) and 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. (Friday to Sunday).
