LOOK: Building in Uptown Bonifacio Flashes Kobe's Name in Tribute

A building in Bonifacio Global City is paying tribute to Kobe Bryant by flashing his name in its facade.
The Uptown Towers 1 and 2, owned by property giant Megaworld, in BGC flashed Kobe's name in the early evening of Monday, January 27, the same day that the NBA legend died in a helicopter crash in Southern California.
The building also displayed Bryant's jersey number 24.

Other private companies and insitutions in the country have also paid tribute to the fallen basketball superstar, who last visited the Philippines in 2016.
Araneta Coliseum said it was hosting a gathering of Bryant's Filipino fans at the Big Dome and plans to display a memento, a huge tarpaulin where fans are encouraged to write their messages for him.
The venue also said it will be flooded with purple and gold lights, the colors of Bryant's team, the LA Lakers.
