What I've Learned: Apl.de.Ap
What is brotherhood to you?
A bond that can't be broken and helping someone not just through good times but through tough times too. Supporting each other, believing in each other, encouraging each other to do whatever you put your mind to. Just looking out for each other. Gang gang.
What's your golden rule when it comes to money?
Utilize your money for necessities, and help your families and others. Share the blessings.
What shapes your life: fate or free will?
I would say both. You have to be thankful for the blessing, so that's faith. And free will to be able to express yourself, experiment, be creative, and create amazing things.
How do you know when you're successful?
I know I'm successful because all my siblings and nieces and nephews were able to have the opportunity to go to school and finish school and have an education. Just seeing my family have a better life.Â
To be able to do what I'm doing now—trying to find a way to improve agriculture and help our farmers in the Philippines. To be able to have that dream and have the opportunity and the means to do something like that. That's successful.
What is happiness to you?
Family, music, and being creative.
Where is the love?Â
The love is in our loved ones, our family, inspiration, education, sharing the blessings from people listening to our music and seeing my family every holiday.
How do you want to be remembered 40 years from now?
I'd like to be remembered as someone who hopefully made my country proud and who helped out other people with the blessings that I have. I can’t take it with me. Might as well spread the love and share the blessings.
