Robinsons Land Corp. Wins 4th Straight Best Developer Award at PropertyGuru PH Awards
Robinsons Land Corp. bagged the Best Developer Award at the 13th PropertyGuru Philippines Property Awards for the fourth straight year, garnering recognition for its leadership in the local real estate industry.
During the awards ceremony held Friday (Agugust 15) at the Shangri-La at the Fort in Bonifacio Global City, the Gokongwei Group’s real estate arm was recognized for its projects on sustainability, smart locations, and innovation across Luzon, Visayas, and Mindanao.
Founded in 2007, PropertyGuru is a regional platform on property technology that has been handing out awards within the real estate industry across different markets in Southeast Asia since 2013. The platform recognizes "exceptional projects and visionaries that are transforming real estate across the region."
PropertyGuru had shortlisted developers, sponsors, and partners consisting of C-level and senior industry figures in real estate development, property consultancy, construction, property technology, architecture and design.
In addition to developer of the year, Robinsons Land was also recognized as this year’s Best Luxury Developer and Best Sustainable Developer.
The company' s chairman, Lance Gokongwei, was presented the Philippine Property Awards first-ever Life Achievement Award, a landmark achievement based on his decades-long experience in portfolio expansions and sizable investments in renewable energy.

RLC Residences, which is the firm’s residential development arm, also nabbed titles foucsed on sustainable design and energy efficiency for projects such as Sync and The Residences at The Westin Manila.
Robinsons Offices was also named Best Commercial Developer, and three titles for its GBF Centers 1 & 2, while Robinsons Hotels and Resorts snagged the Best Operational Hospitality Portfolio thanks to its development of Fili Hotel Bridgetowne.
Robinsons Land and Hongkong Land’s joint venture The Velaris Residences also won Best Condominium Development.
Cyndy Tan Jarabata, TAJARA Leisure & Hospitality Group Inc. president and chairperson of PropertyGuru’s awards in the Philippines, said this year’s awardees were judged based on innovative approaches that led to setting new standards in the real estate industry.
“Their dedication to excellence has not only elevated the Philippine property industry but also contributed significantly to the country's economic growth and progress,” she said. “This year's panel of judges is proud to recognize the diversity of developers and their commitment to quality.”
The Philippine winners are now in the running for the Best in Asia titles in the 20th PropertyGuru Asia Property Awards Grand Final in Bangkok in December.
Some of the other major winners include SM Estates earning Best Township Development for the SM Mall of Asia Complex; SMDC's Symphony Homes winning Best Housing Development in Luzon; Aboitize infraCapital Economic Estates winnning Best Industrial Development; and LIMA Estate bagging the Best Green Central Business District Development, among others.
“These awardees are the leaders in the Philippine property industry who continue to push boundaries, innovate, and strive for excellence,” Jarabata said. “Their contributions will undoubtedly have a lasting impact on the Philippines' growth and future.”
