After 33 years, the founder, president and CEO of leading property development company Century Properties Group—Ambassador Jose EB Antonio—is handing the reins of the company over to one of his sons.

Marco Antonio, who was the company’s chief cooperating officer, was officially appointed CPG’s new president and CEO late last month.

Forty-four-year-old Marco is the second son of Amb. Antonio. His brothers—47-year-old John Victor Antonio, 43-year-old Jose Roberto Antonio, and 36-year-old Jose Carlo Antonio—will remain members of the company’s Board of Directors.

“This new role of Marco in the company affirms the Board’s trust and confidence in his leadership, given his more than two decades of professional experience and wide exposure in the company’s operations handling different aspects of the business,” said the 73-year-old Amb. Antonio, who will continue on as Executive Chairman of the company. “The CPG Board of Directors congratulates our new President and CEO for this well-deserved appointment. We look forward to an even more energized company under his management.”
