President Bongbong Marcos, Ricky Razon, and Toni Gonzaga Attended the Sting Concert

No less than the President of the Philippines came out for the first night performance of British rock star Sting at the Solaire Resort and Casino on Friday, March 17.
President Ferdinand “Bongbong” Marco Jr. was spotted hobnobbing with other VIP guests at the Solaire Theater, including the chairman and president of Bloomberry Resorts and Corporation—the company that owns and operates Solaire Resort and Casino—Enrique K. Razon Jr. President Marcos and Razon seemed to be seated beside each other during the performance. Both chatted with other guets during the short intermission after the 30-minute opening act Joe Sumner—Sting’s son—and the main event.

Other guests spotted at the show were Senator Mark Villar, Alliance Global Group CEO Kevin Tan, Robinsons Land president and CEO and Presidential Adviser on Investment and Economic Affairs Frederick Go, Century Properties Group President and CEO Marco Antonio, film director and presidential adviser on creative communications Paul Soriano and his wife, entertainer Toni Gonzaga. Razon’s daughter Katrina Razon was also seen dancing and singing along to Sting’s hits.

The 71-year-old Sting—born Gordon Sumner—is in Manila for a two-night show. This is his fourth visit to the country. He is scheduled to perform a second night also at Solaire Theater on Saturday, March 18, 2023.
